Where each one wins
If your company already runs on Google Workspace, Gemini on Business Standard is the cheapest way to give everyone an assistant, because you pay for the suite you already use. ChatGPT Business is the broadest general assistant, with SAML single sign-on on the standard plan. Claude Team suits teams that work with long documents, writing and code, and Claude Code is part of every seat. A sensible setup for many small teams is one default tool for everyone and a handful of premium seats for the people who hit the limits.
Costs that are not in the seat price
Premium seats cost five times a standard seat on both ChatGPT Business and Claude Team, so the mix matters more than the headline price. Claude Team can switch on usage credits at API rates once a seat runs out of included usage, which adds a variable line. Claude Enterprise is priced at 20 dollars per seat per month plus usage at API rates, billed annually. On Google Workspace, the heavier Gemini access is sold as an add-on whose price is set per country.

Is Claude Team cheaper than ChatGPT Business?
No. On list price they are the same: a standard seat costs 20 dollars per user per month on annual billing or 25 dollars on monthly billing, and a premium seat costs 100 or 125 dollars. The difference comes from how many premium seats you need.
How much do 10 AI assistant seats cost per year?
Ten standard seats cost 2,400 dollars a year on ChatGPT Business or Claude Team with annual billing, or 3,000 dollars on monthly billing. Gemini has no separate seat: ten users on Google Workspace Business Standard pay 1,680 dollars a year, with email and Drive included.
What is the minimum number of seats?
ChatGPT Business needs at least two paid seats. Claude Team is sold to teams of 2 to 150 people. Google Workspace Business plans run from 1 to 300 users.
